Vietnam ist ein Land mit einer langen Küste und viel zu sehen und zu tun. Hauptstadt ist Hanoi nach der Wiedervereinigung von Nord und Süd im Jahr 1975. Der Norden war lange Zeit Teil Chinas - und kommunistisch. Andere Länder wie Frankreich haben ebenfalls ihre Spuren hinterlassen. Heutzutage ist es ein freies Land mit tollen Landschaften und Stränden, interessantem Essen, sehr freundlichen Menschen, einer guten Wirtschaft und vielen Erinnerungen an seine Vergangenheit.
Ho Chi Minh Stadt ist wahrscheinlich besser als "Saigon" bekannt. Es ist die zweitgrößte Stadt in Vietnam, aber nicht sehr touristisch. Die wenigen Orte sind hauptsächlich mit dem Vietnamkrieg mit den USA verbunden, zum Beispiel das Kriegsmuseum und die tiefen, engen Löcher / Kanäle, in denen sich die Vietcong versteckten und kämpften.
