Luang Prabang
Luang Prabang is a pleasant city at the Mekong river, with traditional Laos-style buildings ( Unesco-heritage). There are boat connections up-stream to Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Vientiane
Vientiane is Laos´ capital, the most populated city and the location of the government, president and some temples. It is VERY relaxing here, certainly for a capital city. No traffic jams or line-ups anywhere.
Vang Vieng
Vang Vieng dulunya adalah kota tempat banyak orang Barat (khususnya kaum muda) datang ke pesta, namun setelah beberapa kecelakaan mematikan, pesta-pesta "jahat" itu tidak ada lagi. Masih banyak restoran dan toko wisata... Sungai masih sangat menarik untuk berkano dan menyenangkan untuk menyewa skuter dan menjelajahi daerah tersebut. Sesuatu yang istimewa di sini adalah menggelembung.
