Seefeld: An Afternoon in Bavaria

  • Cross into Germany for a visit to Oberammergau, the world-renowned home of the Passion Play. This Bavarian village of traditionally painted houses comes together every 10 years* to perform a marathon 10-hour folk theatre rendition of the Passion of Christ in thanksgiving for escaping the great plague of 1633. After visiting the theatre site and town, indulge in homemade Bavarian cuisine at a local restaurant before returning to Seefeld. Duration approximately 7 hour(s). Transportation is included. A minimum of 8 passenger(s) is required to operate this option.


    *The next Passion Play is scheduled for the year 2030. The visit during this tour includes the open-air theatre where the folk play is performed, not the actual performance.
