• Learn more about Indigenous peoples of Canada with a visit to the Huron-Wendat Museum in Wendake. The Huron-Wendat are a First Nations Indigenous people in Canada that have occupied the St. Lawrence Valley and much of eastern Canada for centuries. Since its creation in 2005, the Huron-Wendat Museum has been managing, preserving, and displaying a collection that spans four centuries. Teeming with art, weapons, artifacts, clothing, and tools, this museum is sure to give an in-depth understanding of the Huron-Wendat Nation and those of other First Nations. Your experience is complimented by a lunch on-site featuring traditional First Nations dishes. Enjoy a menu that spans from game meats and smoked fish to local and organic produce, sauces made from native berries, and herbs from the boreal forest. Duration approximately 3.5 hour(s).
