Details
Our budget-friendly Moroccan tour starts and finishes in Marrakech and provides a fantastic introduction to Morocco's imperial cities, with busy medinas and amazing historic sites to explore, and great opportunities to try local Moroccan cuisine. We start the Morocco tour by heading to the coastal city of Casablanca, visiting the unique Habous District, the Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square, the Anfa district and the Hassan II Mosque. We also head to Rabat for a tour of the old city including visits to the Royal Palace, Ouadaya Kasbah and the Hassan Tower Mosque. We explore the old imperial city of Meknes with its ramparts, followed by the ruins at the ancient Roman city of Volubilis before we arrive at the 1200-year-old city of Fez. While in Marrakech we explore the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia palace and the souks around Jemaa El Fna square - home to many different types of traders, giving you a real taste of Moroccan cuisine and culture. We'll also visit the beautiful Majorelle Gardens before you have a free day to explore further or take an optional tour or activity. Accommodation is in locally rated three to four-star hotels, with upgrades available on request.
